再世紅梅記

太師賈似道之妾李慧娘於西湖邂逅太學員生裴禹，她因已為官家妾，故拒裴禹於千里之外。唯她對裴生並沒忘情，又留下「美哉少年」一語。賈似道聞言大怒，將慧娘殺害，並藏棺於紅梅閣上。裴禹巧遇繡谷女盧昭容，她貌美如慧娘，二人一見鍾情。賈似道亦想納昭容為妾，裴禹教她裝瘋鬧府。賈似道感激裴禹提點他瘋女之害，故留裴禹於府內，以候薦賢。裴禹於紅梅閣遇慧娘鬼魂，二人表明心跡。賈似道得姪兒瑩中提示，得悉昭容裝瘋計謀，欲先殺裴生，後捕昭容。慧娘鬼魂救裴逃遁。賈似道審問妾絳仙為何偷放裴禹，遭慧娘阻止，又罰賈似道於半閒堂面壁思過。慧娘與裴禹趕至揚州欲會昭容，正值她相思魂斷之時，慧娘遂借屍還魂，與裴禹完婚。

The spirit of Li stops Jia and makes him repent. Li and Pei arrive at Yangzhou to meet Lu, but Lu has just died of lovesickness. Li’s spirit enters and reanimates Lu’s body. She and Pei get married.
