再世重溫金鳳緣

胡兵犯邊，年青官員唐緯圖為解國困，前往西秦借兵。他路經寺門，順道探望在內靜養之娘親，卻巧遇攜同弟妹避難寺中的弱女卞玉京，二人一見鍾情，更共諧連理。西秦王爺本不欲發兵相助，奈何愛女彩霞喜歡緯圖，力懇其父。緯圖為國家情重，惟有答允婚事。胡兵掃盡，緯圖與彩霞返家。緯圖向玉京道出原委，得她深明大義。二人佯作夫妻不和，玉京並被虐打。各人不值緯圖所為，彩霞帶玉京之妹玉芙離家出走，緯圖始料不及，萬念俱灰，自此棄官為僧，沿門托缽，化緣度日。十六年後，緯圖遇玉芙。玉芙願以身相許，被彩霞知悉，極力反對，並道出他乃殺其姊之人。後經解釋，緯圖及玉芙終成眷屬。

Marrying the Sister-in-Law

When Huns invade the country, young officer Tang Weitu is sent to borrow forces from the State of Qin in order to save the nation. Passing by a temple, he takes the opportunity to drop in on his mother there, and happens to meet Bian Yujing, who is taking refuge there with her younger sister and brother. WeituandYujing fall in love with each other at first sight and get married on the spot.

The prince of Western Qin is not eager to help but his daughter, Caixia, loves Weitu, and so earnestly requests him to send troops. For the purpose of getting the troops to defend his state, Weitu has to agree to the marriage. After the Huns are defeated, the young officer goes home together with his new bride and has to explain the whole story to Yujing, who is well aware of the righteous cause and forgives him. Still,Weitu and Yujing pretend to be at odds and Yujing is killed during their fight. Caixia runs away from him withYufu, Yujing’s sister. Weitu is utterly disheartened. He abandons his post and becomes a monk, begging alms from door to door. Sixteen years later, he meets Yufu again, who proposes marriage to him. Caixiastrongly opposes the marriage, and tells Yufu that Weitu is the murderer of her sister. After explaining his situation, Weitu and Yufu finally get married.
